A day in which Columbia Area Career Center students “Pop-In” on a community-based business. This gives students a peek into career opportunities and gives the community a chance to build relationships with the upcoming workforce.

9:15 a.m. – Breakfast and Check-in Ends
9:30 – 10:15 a.m. – Orientation, CACC-Room 173 [EquipmentShare Human Resources and Workplace Expectations Training]
10:15 a.m. – Bio Break, Load Bus #101
10:30 a.m. – CACC caravan leaves for EquipmentShare
11 a.m. – CACC arrives, Introduction to ES Employees to CACC students
[Students are grouped together with ES employees]
11:15 a.m. – ES Tour/Shadowing
[ES employees take their appointed students under their wing, show them the facilities and demonstrate daily work duties.]
12:15 p.m. – Lunch @ ES
[ES employees sit with their appointed CACC students. Networking questions will be on the table to help further the discussion.]
1:15 p.m. – Everyone Transfer to CACC – South, 4203 S. Providence Rd., Columbia, MO 65203, meeting in Room 173, purple arrows.
1:45 p.m. – CACC Students tour ES employees CACC
Students show ES Employees the facilities and personal projects they are working on.
2:45 p.m. – Dessert Reception @ CACC – Rm. 173 [Purple Arrows]
