Students will grow and care for various plants in the greenhouse setting, including succulents, tropicals, foliage plants, edibles, annuals, and perennials. Maintain parts of a greenhouse, explore how they work as well as general maintenance. This course includes plant identification, care, maintenance, processes, environmental controls, propagation, basic sales and marketing. The course will also cover aquaculture and hydroponics. This course is an excellent opportunity to take many plants home! Participation in FFA will provide additional opportunities.
