Welcome to the world of professional cooking! In this introductory-level course, you will learn the basics of working in a professional kitchen. We will explore sanitation, knife cuts, vegetables, starches, various cooking methods, eggs and breakfast cookery. Classes are set in a professional kitchen and workplace readiness skills are emphasized daily. Every student will have an opportunity to advance personal and professional skills through participation in SkillsUSA.
