Certified Welding 3 is a challenging course accredited by AWS. This class focuses on welding nonferrous metals and pipe welding in four positions using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and a combination of SMAW and GTAW. You will study welding, oxy-fuel, power tool safety, welding symbols and American Welding Society structural certification codes. It is a requirement to have approved work clothes. Every student will have an opportunity to advance personal and professional skills through participation in SkillsUSA.
