Certified Welding 3 is a challenging course accredited by AWS. This class focuses on welding nonferrous metals and pipe welding in four positions using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and a combination of SMAW and GTAW. Students study welding, oxy-fuel, power tool safety, welding symbols and American Welding Society structural certification codes. It is a requirement to have approved work clothes.
