Grade Level: 9, 10, 11, 12 Credit: 1 Type: Practical Art

School: HHS*

Problem-solving, group work and independent decision-making skills are some of the dynamics you will learn and practice in this course. The Columbia Aeronautics and Space Association is an aerospace simulation that gives you many opportunities to apply your knowledge and problem-solving skills in Administration, Aerospace Research, Engineering Design and Science, Audio-Visual Engineering and Production. In CASA, you replicate NASA technologies and experiments in a student-directed, hands-on simulation.

Expand your science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) knowledge in a project-based learning environment. You will have the opportunity to work with NASA as part of a national high school design competition. You need a work ethic and self-discipline to meet the high-level rigor. Every student will have an opportunity to advance personal and professional skills through participation in SkillsUSA.
