Do you ever wonder how movie studios make characters or creatures come to life? Have you considered designing your favorite video games’ massive worlds, tools, and characters? If you have—this is the class for you! The course will allow you to develop design skills in 3D animation, game design and 3D visualization. Autodesk, Maya and Zbrush will serve as the primary software programs. You will learn how to do the following: model weapons and vehicles, sculpt characters and creatures, rig and animate your characters, and add lights and materials to enhance your scene. Every student will have an opportunity to advance personal and professional skills through participation in SkillsUSA.
