Robotics and CIM is the study of robotics, programming and automation. Students will work with various types of robots and control systems and experiment with sensors, processors and actuators used in manufacturing. Learn to build custom robots to solve complex problems.

Prerequisites: (Co-Requisite) All PLTW courses require concurrent enrollment in (or satisfactory prior completion of) appropriate grade level math and science courses ; actuators used in manufacturing. Students will build custom robots to solve complex problems. Recommended: C or better average in Algebra 1 or credit in PLTW Introduction to Engineering Design or PLTW Principles of Engineering
