Landscaping and Turf Management - 9010

Grade: 10, 11, 12 — Credits: 1

Explore the exciting careers related to the landscaping industry as you study plant science, plant identification, landscape design, installation and maintenance and turf management. Learn how to plant and care for landscaping plants, how to plant lawn grasses, lay sod, and care for a lawn. Students will gain entry level Computer Aided Design skills and install landscape plants in a variety of settings. Additional opportunities will be available by participating in FFA. College dual credit and articulated college credit may be available. Please see instructor for details.
