Earn one science or practical art credit in this college preparatory class while learning to effectively use many laboratory tools and procedures essential in most laboratories. You will learn to use analytical balances, pH meters, microscopes and micropipettes, as well as procedures such as gram staining and aseptic technique. You will also look at societal issues related to science and complete a major lab based research project.
