Many exciting career opportunities are available in agribusiness, sales, marketing and management. This course provides the basics in sales, communications, finance, advertising and entrepreneurship for students interested in pursuing careers or postsecondary education in the agriculture industry. This course will address basic economic concepts and issues impacting the U.S. food and fiber industry and it will offer strong coverage of macroeconomic theory and international trade. Leadership and public speaking skills will be emphasized through participation in the FFA organization. College dual credit and articulated college credit may be available.
